A giggle and a laugh, To twirl and to dance Bright eyes gleaming Faith for believing.

The StoneSitting, cold as a stone. I sleep. Dreaming desires of mortality. To touch a human hand To smell a woman’s perfume. To run naked through the bracing snow. Needing to awaken from the insufferable agony of NONEXISTANCE. Needing to LIVE.The Stone
Still a stone sits. Still a stone sleeps. Fantasy about life that never was, never can be. Suffocating in tangled blankets soaked in sweat. A spider weaves the web thicker and thicker Before draining the life blood out of existence. Cold blood as the stone, stiff in remembrance of NOTHINGNESS.

The MindThe Mind by R. Brian FinkThe Mind
The mind is like an attic
With dark empty corners,
Damp and Musty.
Cobwebs hang from the ceiling
and the smell of dust fills the air.
Baggage forgotten, left to the elements
And items regretted saved for haunted remembrance.
But,
In the most convenient space
A cluster of boxes and life’s trinkets
Treasured memories of the lives we have touched
Are being stored and saved In the Mind
